Mary Jane Barth

Mary Jane Barth, 78 of Dillsboro passed away January 16, 2018 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.  Mary was born October 25, 1939 in Dayton, Ky the daughter of Raymond and Jeannette (Weatherford) Graver. She married Gene Robert Barth May 26, 1990 and he survives. Mary worked as a Teacher for 32 years and a Librarian for 8 years for the Aurora, Dillsboro and South Dearborn schools.  She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed collecting antiques, reading, playing the piano, listening to classical music, being in the outdoors with her flowers in the garden.   

     Mary is survived by husband: Gene Barth of Dillsboro; sons: John (Jodie) Niemeyer of Palm City, Fl; Michael Niemeyer; Jason (Erin) Barth of Dillsboro; daughters: Angela Jewett (Gerald) Banschbach of Lawrenceburg; Desiree (John) Barth  McClanahan of Lebanon, OH; half-sister: Linda Davies of Washington; Sister-in-law: Shirley Barth of Versailles. 7 Grandchildren.  Mary was preceded in death by her parents.

     Funeral service will be 11AM Monday January 22, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Dillsboro with Pastor Rev. Richard Kolaskey officiating.  Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery in Dillsboro. Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Sunday January 21, 2018 at the church and also Monday 10-11 a.m.   Memorials may be made to the Oakdale-Raymond Graver Beautification Fund.  Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements, P.O.
