Pamela Davies

             Pamela Ann Davies, 55, of Dillsboro passed away Friday, March 8, 2019 at Highpoint Health in Lawrenceburg.  Pamela was born Wednesday, April 10, 1963 in Dearborn County, Indiana, the daughter of Franklin and Nina (Justice) Davies.  She married Dean Ransom and he survives.  Pamela was a forklift driver for Anchor Glass and past member of St. John Lutheran Church in Farmers Retreat.  She enjoyed her grandchildren, going to the lake, pool and ocean and enjoyed canoeing.

            Pamela is survived by her husband Dean; parents Franklin and Nina Davies of Dillsboro; sons: Daniel (Lauren) Fox of Manchester, Kody (Hillary) Storey of Aurora, Mitchell (Rylee) Storey of Dillsboro and Zachary (Leah) Storey of Moores Hill; daughter Ashley Ransom of Dillsboro; brother Tony Davies of CA; sisters: Sheila (Terry) Black of Rising Sun and Nina (Bill) Hoffman of Dillsboro, and 9 grandchildren.

            A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 11 AM Saturday, March 16, 2019 at St. John Lutheran Church, at Farmers Retreat, 7291 State Road 62, Dillsboro, IN 47018, with Pastor Garry Wickert officiating.  Family and friends may gather to share and remember her 10 AM until time of service also at the church.  Memorials may be given in honor of Pamela to the American Cancer Society.  Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements, Box 146, Dillsboro, IN 47018, (812) 432-5480.  You may go to www.filterdevriesmoore.com to leave an online condolence message for the family.
