Condy Crabtree Obituary
Condy R. Crabtree, 77, of Dillsboro passed away Friday August 13, 2021, at The Waters of Dillsboro Ross in Dillsboro. Condy was born in Caryville, TN, March 6, 1944, the son of the late Jarvis “Jim” and Ethel (Evans) Crabtree. He married Judith “Judie” (Martin) Crabtree on June 14, 1969 and she survives after 52 years of marriage. Condy worked at Custom Extrusions in Connersville, IN for 50 years becoming a plant manager. Condy enjoyed in his early years coaching his children sport teams and smoking his pipe. His greatest passion in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Condy will be missed by his loving family including his wife: Judie Crabtree of Dillsboro; sons: Michael Crabtree of Connersville; Mark (Amy) Crabtree of Prosper, TX; daughter: Lorena Reed of Georgia; brothers: Lester (Marcia) Crabtree of Liberty, IN; Bobby (Linda) Crabtree of Connersville; sisters: Lorene Swenney of Connersville; Brenda Berry of Hagerstown, IN; Molly Russell of Caryville, TN; Gearline Shelly of Connersville; Numerus grandchildren: grandsons: Austin (Harley) Crabtree; Gerek (Artisa) Crabtree; Miles Crabtree; Logan Crabtree; Russell Crabtree; granddaughters: Pheobe Crabtree; Melanie Crabtree; Susie Reed; Karen Stoud. Numerus Great-Grandchildren: Cammy Crabtree; He was preceded in death by his parents, sons: Condy Crabtree Jr., Chris Crabtree; son-in-law: Gordon Reed. siblings: Harvey Crabtree, Shelby Coleman, Mabel Fraley, brother-in-law: David Swenney, Wilard Fraley, Richard Coleman, Paul Shelly, sister-in-law: Hazel Crabtree,
He chose to donate his body to the U.C. Medical Hospital. There will not be a service at this time. Memorials may be given in honor of Condy to the Diabetes Association.
