Jacqueline M. (Higgins) Grigsby

          Jacqueline “Jackie” Marie (Higgins) Grigsby, 60, of Osgood, passed away in Cincinnati on Sunday, April 18, 2021. Jackie was born in Rising Sun, Indiana on Thursday, January 12, 1961 to Leslie and Janice (Blackburn) Higgins. She spent many years as a dedicated employee at Seagram’s. Jackie was also an accomplished chemist, former police officer, and EMT. She graduated with a degree in psychology and was a certified diver. She was also the first bar tender hired on at Whiskey’s Family Restaurant in Lawrenceburg. Jackie made many connections over the years throughout her different jobs. She married her loving husband, Mark, on Tuesday, May 15, 2001. Jackie loved to spend her free time horseback riding. When she was not horseback riding, she could often be found swimming, working on arts and crafts, cooking, or spending time with family. Jackie and Mark always enjoyed traveling together, especially to the Dominican Republic.

         Jackie will be dearly missed by her husband, Mark; daughter Erika Dugger (Eric) of Rising Sun; sister Regina Green of Paoli; brother Russell Higgins of Washington State; two grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents.
