Robert "Bob" Barton Jr.

          Robert “Bob” Barton Jr., 65, of Milan passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 at his home in Milan. Bob was born on Monday, January 7, 1957 in Milan; son of Robert and Frieda (Rueter) Barton, Sr. Bob married his loving wife, Diane (Volk) Barton, on July 13, 1991. Bob was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church and a Ripley County 4-H member for many years. He enjoyed being a farmer and loved the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, and horseback riding. His greatest joy was going out and visiting with the neighbors.

          Bob will be missed by his wife, Diane of Milan; sisters Donna Barton of Milan and Katherine Rosenberg (Paul) of Madison; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

          Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Frieda Barton.

          A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at St. John’s Cemetery, (Enochsburg) 9995 East Base Road, Greensburg, IN 47240, with Rev. William Ehalt officiating. Memorials may be given in honor of Bob to the American Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
