Obituary
Rozena (King) Bennett, 84, of Lawrenceburg passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Ridgewood Health Campus in Lawrenceburg. Rozena was born on Thursday, September 29, 1938 in Booneville, Kentucky; daughter of Garfield and Minnie King. Rozena married the love of her life, Edwin “Eddie” Bennett, on December 16, 1955, and he preceded her on May 11, 2009. Rozena was a factory worker at Seagrams for 25+ years. She enjoyed spending her winters in Florida, playing in the bowling league, and spending time outdoors.
Rozena will be missed by her daughter Linda (Ivan) Bennett Boldirev of Noblesville; son Tony (Cindy) Bennett of Henderson, Nevada; 5 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Rozena was preceded in death by her parents Garfield and Minnie King; 3 sisters; and 3 brothers.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at New Cravens Cemetery. Memorials may be given in honor of Rozena to the ALS Foundation.
