Tony Adkinson Obituary

           Tony Lee Adkinson, 71, of Versailles, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Milan on Monday, August 15, 1949 to John W. “Jay” Adkinson and Lillie Fern (Dean) Adkinson. Before retiring, Tony spent 32 years working for I & M Power Plant as a boilermaker and was a part of union #369. He married his wife Diane in 1992 and later became a member of the Dillsboro Masonic Lodge #151 F & AM in 1999. Tony enjoyed many hobbies such as hunting, motorcycles, playing cards, softball, and bowling. However, what Tony loved and cared for the most was his family, grandchildren, and of course- fishing.

          Tony will be dearly missed by his wife, Diane (Napier) Adkinson of Versailles; sons Aaron (Ruth Ann) Adkinson of Holton and Brian Adkinson of Batesville; daughters Angel (Matthew) Mills of Versailles, Keesha (Johnnie) Seaver of Versailles, and Jessica Adkinson of Scottsburg; brother Jerry (Georgia) Adkinson of Elrod; 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

         There will be no services at this time. Memorials may be given in honor of Tony to the family.
