Travis "Crash" Sullivan Obituary

Travis “Crash” Wayne Sullivan, 30, of Dillsboro passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021 in Michigan. Travis was born on Sunday, May 12, 1991 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Timothy and Rachel (Whitaker) Sullivan Jr. Growing up, Travis enjoyed the outdoors, whether hunting, fishing, riding, or helping friends and local farmers. Travis graduated from South Dearborn High School in 2009, where he enjoyed wrestling. He received a wrestling scholarship to Mount St. Joseph University, but after attending decided to serve his country. Travis proudly served in the U.S. Army and spent a tour in Afghanistan with the Combined Team Uruzgan (CTU) 3 stationed at Multi National Base Tarin Kot as Military Intelligence. Travis worked as a Union Lineman, out of Local #1393. He attended The Bridge of Hope Worship Center on Sundays with his family and enjoyed spending time with “Buzz”, his chocolate lab. Travis was a hard worker, who had a heart of gold. His humor and selfless heart left a positive impact on every life that he touched.

He will be dearly missed by his parents, Timothy and Rachel, of Dillsboro; paternal grandparents Timothy (Jeannie) Sullivan Sr. of Cleves, Ohio; maternal grandmother Sue Whitaker of Harrison, Ohio; brother Timothy (Rebecca) Sullivan III of Dillsboro; sister Hope (Brady) Hardtke of Delhi, Ohio; and nieces Lettie Sullivan and Vaeda Sullivan.

Travis is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Ronnie Whitaker.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given in honor of Travis to the family.
